Nearby is a banana path where you can enter by the river and walk to the waterfalls. The water is crystal clear and refreshing. The scenery includes hanging vines, stands of bamboo and cascading falls. The view is quite spectacular!
Somerset Falls
If you like waterfalls, Somerset Falls, is definitely the place to see. A world- class setting where you can just chill, go for a swim or simply relax! This breath-taking waterfall is hidden in the rainforest, where the Daniels River plunges down a narrow gorge. Here you can settle in for a lovely day of sunning and relaxing in picture-perfect deep rock pools.
Frenchman's Cove
Come, put your feet up and relax in this special corner of Jamaica. Frenchman’s Cove is located on the north coast of the island. The secluded Frenchman's Cove Resort offers breath-taking scenery, a variety of accommodations and services, as well as easy access to many things to see and do nearby. With only 12 rooms and 16 private cottages scattered over 45 acres of seaside parkland, you will never feel crowded. Here, you will be able to relax on a white sandy beach nestled in a romantic cove fed by a crystal-clear mountain stream.
San San Beach
San San Beach is one of the most famous stretches of pure white sand in all of Jamaica. This is the beach to go to if you want to explore the local marine life. A reef just offshore is teeming with fish of all description. The beach has lifeguards, showers and a picnic area with grills. In the winter, waves washing ashore make this one of the best places along the northeast coast for windsurfing. Off shore, you will see a little island that has many names. Some call the small island Monkey Island, Woods Island, Pellow Island, or Princess Island. Many visitors swim to the inlet from San San Beach, where you will see spiny sea urchins as you step ashore.
